Regal Cages are meticulously engineered and crafted with design features you won’t find anywhere else. Yet, it’s the doors that really set these cages apart. Made entirely of stainless steel, the frame, crossmembers and vertical spokes are welded together at every intersection for exceptional structural integrity and strength. The cage door mounts on the front of the cage, fitting close along the top and sides and overlapping the bottom of the cage opening to keep the animal’s paws from becoming trapped between the door and the cage. The distinctive design also prevents paper liners from slipping out under the door.
BODY – 22-gauge type 304 Stainless Steel body, is heli-arc welded into one piece, to create the strongest cage available. 0.75 in. (1.90cm) covered rear corners on top and bottom, eliminate accumulation of dirt and bacteria. 0.75-in. (1.90cm) radius, bends on all sides. Back provides a smooth, easy -to-clean interior surface. Distinctive floor design, with fluid retaining front lip, is standard on all Regal Cages. Bottom lip overlaps lower cage, when used in a Regal Cage arrangement.
FRAME – 18 gauge Stainless Steel die-formed floor support brace, keeps floor rigid for animal comfort.
DOORS – Door fits snug to the cage body, to eliminate areas where an animals paws could be pinched.
HINGES – 0.3125-in. (0.79cm) diameter Stainless Steel hinge pins, allow easy removal of door.
LATCH – 0.3125-in. (0.79cm) diameter Stainless Steel latch keeper latches door securely.
