Description
Our VetAssist system circulates water via the flexible patient heating/cooling pad. Conductive temperature therapy helps prevent hypothermia and heat loss during surgery. Postoperative recovery is improved, while patients are kept at an optimum temperature.
The flexible design of the heating/cooling pads allows the clinician to use the pads in surgical cradles or positioners. Side wrapping patients in cages is no problem. Robust construction ensures the pads can be used in all areas of the clinic, surgery, recovery, and cage areas.
One touch operation, with a range of 8℃ – 42℃ with constant LED display of current patient temperature, ensures your surgery and recoveries are effortless.
System includes 1 x Large Vet Assist Patient Pad.
Lara Cooke –
We purchased a Vet Assist heating / cooling unit in April 2014 and the unit has far exceeded our expectations in regards to patient heating during general anaesthesia and post sedation. The unit heats up quickly and due to the nature of the settings we are able to thermoregulate a patient to an exact temperature.
The unit only takes a minute to set up and is compact and mobile. The mat is also very easily cleaned and we look forward to being able to utilise it for active cooling in the summer months for our heat stroke patients.
